Folding your Gi

You should always take care of your Gi, it is both your armor and your Karate uniform. One way of doing this is making sure it is properly folded for transporting to and from home and not just stuffed into your kit bag!

It is worth noting that a used Gi (sweaty from training) should not be stored like this for any length of time as it will become yellow and stained, so when you get home either wash or air your Gi to allow it to breath, but do not place it on a radiator either as this will lock in the dirt, sweat and grime.
